The SCE exam is a compulsory component for Certificate of Completion of Training in Dermatology in the UK. This highly regarded exam revision course has taken place annually for over eleven years and will guide you through the key learning areas required to successfully sit this exam.

How do I register?

We are currently taking registrations of interest for this course.
Please fill out the form and submit your interest.

Once registration is open please book your place by clicking on the green 'Register' button and completing your details.

 

What if I have missed the chance to register for this course?

There is a maximum 70 spaces, but a reserve list is set up as the course is often oversubscribed. If you have missed out please email booking@bdeg.co.uk to be placed on the reserve list.

 

Can I transfer my registration to another person? 

Yes, please email booking@bdeg.co.uk

 

How do I know I have registered and will I get an invoice?

You will be sent confirmation upon booking and an invoice will be supplied. Any problems, please email booking@bdeg.co.uk

 

Can I cancel my booking? 

Delegates may cancel their registration in accordance with the following conditions:

Any cancellation request must  be submitted online to booking@bdeg.co.uk

You can cancel up to 30 days before the first day of the event to receive a refund of 80% of the event fees (the remaining 20% of those fees being retained as a processing fee).

Less than 30 days and up to 15 days before the first day of the event to receive a refund of 50% of the event fees (the remaining 50% of those fees being retained by way of a processing and cancellation fee).

Organisers regret that cancellations cannot be accepted less than 15 days before the first day of the event. No refunds for cancellations less than 15 days before the first day of the event.

How do I get to the venue?

Via Train

Kuala Lumpur has a good  two metro services (MRT & LRT) connecting to all main train stations and nearest metros stations are 3 & 5mins walk away from the hotel.

You can travel by train on the Light Railway Transit (subway) and you may try using KLIA Express travel from the airport into the city at KL Sentral Station.

Once you have arrived KL Sentral station, change to Rapid KL KJL line travel from KL Sentral to Ampang Park (KJ9) station.

It’s 2 minutes walk at Ampang Park station exit to Intercontinental hotel.

Total fare from KLIA to Ampang park at RM53.00 (USD15.00).

Taxi

You can get to Intercontinental Hotel from KLIA and KLIA2 airports are via Premier Cab/Taxi. Premier Taxi counters are available once you pass through custom check / terminal at the airport.

The premier taxi fees from the airport to Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur average at RM150.00++ (USD35.00) depending on traffic into the city.

Is accommodation available?

The course is hosted at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur 165 and hotel rooms are available on-site. Our students will receive a special discounted rate if staying at the hotel.

Do not book your hotel until you have booked your course place. Upon booking you will receive a voucher code for the discounted rate.

You may also arrange your own accommodation.

Do you offer group rates? 

Currently we do not offer group rates.

 

Can I pay on-site?

No, all payments need to be made in advance to secure your place.

 

My payment has been declined, what should I do?

Please make sure your name and the billing details are all filled in in English. Avoid using non-English letters and try again. You may also need to check with your bank to confirm there is no payment limit on your card or/and no international payment security block. Am I allowed to take photographs?

No, we would prefer the educational content of the course remains within the teaching session, however we are happy to share pdf versions of much of the course material to attending delegates.

 

What if I have any specific needs?

If you have any specific needs (dietary, accessibility etc) please get in touch via booking@bdeg.co.uk and we will do our very best to accommodate these.

How can I request an invitation letter for my visa application? 

We do not process visa applications for course attendees. However, you can download your invitation letter from our website to support your visa application. To obtain the invitation letter, it is mandatory to be registered for the event. You can also request the letter by emailing booking@bdeg.co.uk

Note: we advise to submit your visa application at least eight weeks prior to the event.

 

What if my visa application is declined? 

Unfortunately, refunds cannot be granted if your visa application is unsuccessful.

What is the official language of the course?

The official language of the conference is English.
