Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Tony Downs created and continues to co-host the annual national SCE directed learning course since 2009.

He regularly teach nurses and doctors regionally to improve Dermatology clinical practice in primary care. For many years he has managed and nurtured local GPs with an interest in Dermatology, mentored non-consultant Dermatologists wishing to accredit as consultants through the CESR route and mentored nurses wishing to attain improved skills or higher qualifications.

Consultant Dermatologist

Dr. Bower specialises in surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancer. He is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust Hospital, where he is the clinical lead.

Medical education is a key interest, and Dr Bower is co-organiser of the annual Dermatology Specialty Certificate Examination revision course, having previously co-organised the annual UK Dermatology Clinical Assistants Meeting for 8 years.

Consultant Dermatologist

Dr Pawel Bogucki is a Consultant Dermatologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

In addition to his clinical contributions, Dr Bogucki is a dedicated educator. He leads both in-person and virtual training sessions for junior doctors, nurses, general practitioners, and medical students. He has been a presenter at the UK Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) course for over a decade, consistently receiving excellent feedback from participants.

Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist

Dr Tim Clayton is a Consultant Paediatric Dermatologist from Manchester.

He undertakes clinics at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital as well as Salford Royal which is one of the largest centres for dermatology in the UK. Tim also leads an adult atopic dermatitis service at Salford Royal and undertakes a general adult clinic there.
